I agree, but being a TV star is the perception of what Dem strategists think helped him win in a big way - hence them looking to the Rocks, Oprahs, and Hanks' to try and counter that.
I think it's 50/50 that the Dems run someone other than a career politician in 2020 for President and VP. Seriously, who do they have that is a reasonable candidate to run against Trump? Warren - Laugh.Out.Loud. So many issues, and once she has to open her mouth to defend the waves of accusations about lying about being native American that would start flowing in - she'd be finished the second she started trying to speak about that. Every other Dem that comes up would be fighting uphill vs Trump. However, run a guy like the Rock, who is well spoken, looks strong and decisive and young, seems to be able to say things that offend nobody, and then flip that cow Oprah in for reasons already stated - it'd be Trump fighting uphill all of a sudden.
