The back pads on the Honda are really small, they're almost cute.

That was probably more than 3 times then what they were meant to last. However, I don't do a lot of city driving.

My son and I installed new brakes on the Honda. Actually, he did all the work. I would have done it, but I don't have the tools anymore. This was a huge relief. The car had 182k miles on it and never had the brakes replaced. It was grinding and screeching.

I actually feared the calipers would need to be replaced but I got lucky. The worst brake was the right rear. It was metal to metal. It only took 3 hours and that was with a lot of gabbing. The kit I bought was from Detroit Axel and was absolutely complete. It included the grease, cleaner, and brake fluid along with all the pads, springs, and rotors. I would heartily recommend the kit to anyone.
