For those that don't have a Warthog I'll explain. Below is a piece that can be removed and reversed so that there is either no detent for afterburners or a detent in which you must lift the throttle handle to push beyond that detent. The Warthog throttle is heavy but the spring to lift the handle over that detent is strong enough to lift the throttle off the table, or at least lighten it enough to let it slide forward when you go into AB. I don't have it bolted down and don't like the whole throttle moving around.

The arrow indicates where the throttle stop hits and the handle must then be lifted over that.

Seriously though, I'd never get it unstuck from the pad if it was printed horizontally. It's not my design.

There has to be a solution to use on the pad. I literally lift mine off after it cools.

I broke it away from the raft without great difficulty. Getting the raft off will be harder. Satisfied with how this turned out.

I got both a glass plate and a magnetic plate that is very flexible. Haven't tried the glass plate yet but the flexible plate works much better. I flex it and the raft separates from the pad.

It'd take me weeks to print that. What kind of glue is that?

I printed a tubular model of a trackir clip and broke it. Tried super glue but it never adhered. Maybe I didn't hold it together long enough.

Try a UV glue,there are various makes on the market but they all use UV light to cure. IIRC they are polyurethane based and easy to work with. I have a friend who has trains,he uses the stuff to make all kinds of things for his train setup. It glues most plastics and works where crazy glue doesnt.

I have some UV glue and used it to tack down the wires on the first IR clip I made. Doesn't seem like it hardens enough to hold printed pieces together that endure any kind of stress. I could be wrong.

Ya I've heard some are better than others,I dont recall the name my friend uses but he swears by it. He does use some fancy UV light thing to cure what he makes,maybe thats the difference I dont know. Last I talked to him he said he was thinking about getting a printer to make all the shit he does. I mean like trees,buildings operating crossing guards,little people you name it.

He even has this dual scale setup,one scale size train enters a mountain tunnel and another scale size exits it to give you a perspective thing. He has a display cabinet that has some nice trains in it,brass jobs,a real steam powered one and assorted others,he says it's worth a considerable amount and if his kids dont get what it's worth out of it he wont care as he told me,he'll be dead.
