This looks like a good deal though the next gen video cards may be out in a month or two.

A thread to share excellent computer deals. I'll begin....
Ordered a new system from Digital Storm, impressed with it so far. Storage a little lacking but I had a spare 2TB NVMe SSD from old system and an external WD Black 5TB drive to make for lack of storage.

SSD prices have been holding steady for a while. Now we're seeing a crack in the line. Others will follow.
-
3 years or so ago I posted on the AH forums that HDDs would be virtually gone in 3 years, replaced by SSDs. Skuzzy guffawed. It's happening slower than I predicted but it's happening.
-
When the price point for a 1TB drive reaches $50 HDDs will dry up overnight. Even high capacity drives used in cloud storage.
-
$39.99 for Win 10 Pro Retail is a great deal. Hard to believe it's legit but PC World magazine has been around since '83.
Buy at your own risk. I just bought one.
-
They send you a license number then you download?
-
Yes.

You can get it for 17.39 USD here still I think, I bought 4 keys from them a few years ago that are still working fine including MS updates, hardware changes, etc.
I wouldn't buy from them now (IMO), but thought it put it up for others to just check out or comment on if they had used them before as well.

Kinguin.net is supposedly a lot more solid, a bit more $ but probably worth it. That Link from Iron is probably very solid.

Bought one from Kinguin after having my motherboard replaced. It would not work. They then told me to call the microsoft registration number and argue with them. Doubt I'll buy from them again.

Humble Bundle sale on: Cinemaware Anthology -1986 1991
$2.49
Not so much playable by today's standards but I played most of 'em back in the day. Amiga and PC versions. Cheap nostalgia fix.
The "Cinemaware Anthology: 1986-1991" includes the following titles:
- Defender of the Crown
- SDI
- The King of Chicago
- Sinbad and the Throne of the Falcon
- Lords of the Rising Sun
- Rocket Ranger*
- It Came From the Desert
- It Came From the Desert II: Antheads
- Wings!
- TV Sports: Football
- TV Sports: Basketball
- TV Sports: Baseball
- TV Sports: Boxing
-
Hah, worth that $$ for Defender of the Crown alone, one of the truly great Commodore 64 original games of all time.
-
This is a good deal. I have an earlier model of this keyboard and it has been great.
-
had a corsair... dang thing died after about a year... went steel series and never looked back...
-
I've got a couple k95, one Brown one Blue, got them as factory 2nds and they're a good board, but IMO get the K100 with the optical keyswitch. I have a Bloody 975 Keyboard with the same sort of clicky optical switch, and it's by far the best switch/board I have out of the 20+ I have kicking around. I like it more than the original IBM M clicky KB.

Two and a quarter, I'm gonna need another stimulus check.
-
ASUS announced price hikes due to shortages and other excuses. Just what happened with video cards 2-3 years ago. Was expected and why I went ahead with the whole PC purchase.
-
I was going to upgrade to an old card (580 series) and even the prices on those are jacked up. no thanks
-
Everything just went up by approximately $600.
