I prefer the Cessna 337. You sit forward of the wing and have unbelievable visibility.
Otherwise they are very similar.

Hey Baitman, long time, great to "see" you here. How's life, you still in AB? I'm in SK mostly now, have a good friend house sitting long term in Calgary for us still, we still come back frequently though. It'll be much less so now, I'm stuck in a wheelchair for at least another month or two, and taking care of my father now is 3x harder than before due to this, so I/we am going to stay here probably for the winter.
Storch, I was a Francophone from birth, I spoke French before English (unfortunately) - I went to a French school too, it was run by nuns/priests/brothers, and I've posted before what a shit show that was under their draconian punishments. These days they'd all be in prison, big time, but in the late 70s and early 80s they got away with all of that. Anyhow, I HATED Francophones and anything to do with the French because of my experience with that school, for a long time as well. I'm of the same mind as you now, I let all of that go, and of course most of the French people I know now are fantastic people. I still speak French, just not as fluently as I did as a kid before moving to English schools in High School. Tabarnac. Tabar-fucking-nac.
Hey Slam, I have some pics of the new hardware in the leg as of yesterday. It's been 13 days since surgery and the first pics I posted. Not sure why the one part of the bone seems to be floating in space in my leg, the surgeon again was a no show, but promised I could speak to him at my next appointment (4 weeks). What a fucking shit show our medical system is - I'd love a chance to speak on the next leftist news show that holds up Canada's system as a utopia of health care. Not sure if you're still up here and able to ask your sister about these again. The nurse took out my 137 staples from the 7 incisions they had to make for this BS, they are healing well, only 2 bled during the removal process. She told me to be patient and that healing will take longer due to my SLE/Type1 Diabetes, (yes, thanks nurse for telling me what I've been told 10,000 times now, and already knew before the first time they "informed" me of this), but based on the incisions, I'm healing at a normal rate on the outside. So knock on wood for the insides, but the floating part of the bone which doesn't seem to be attached to the main bone has me wondering wtf. Thanks in advance if she's able to check these out, if not, no worries, and I really appreciate the info she gave me through you already.

Gman... when I see those pics it reminds me of when I was first building hot rods and needed to fix or make a bracket but didn't have a welder.

“All Canadians whether firearms owners or not should be concerned about the scapegoating of law abiding citizens and the targeting of their property.”
Well said. -
Ok so G update on the latest scans...
Firstly, despite those looking high resolution to you and I, it's very low resolution for a pro evaluation - they use much higher resolution & specialty contrasting software etc etc etc but this is the deal from what we have to work with and is "unofficial/off the books etc".

It looks like the hardware is well seated and aligned without any obvious signs of complication.
His bone edges at the fracture clefts looks like they’re probably starting the earliest of healing process.
I don’t see anything alarming.
There is also some expected loss of bone density at the ankle because he is probably not fully bearing weight on that leg.
The density should come back when he weight bears again.
If he smokes, he should stop asap. Will heal faster if he is a non smoker.

On what looks like to you an I like a broken loose bone or two:

That is a butterfly fragment and should heal.

So looks good. She said you must hound them on getting lined up with a therapist because... well you know.

On the frogs in Canuckistan... the very worst of the worst are the frogs that live in Ontario and anywhere out west. If you did any schooling in french (I did as well), they ram it down your fucking throat and never let up. If you have an English or Irish name they fuck with you non stop. Nothing worse than them - french speaking teachers with attitudes stuck in an English environment are fucking horrible.
I remember speaking English during recess (major major no-no and instant grounds for losing recess for a week). I did it non-stop especially in Kindergarten->3rd grade and it's the main reason I speak English perfectly now - it was out of defiance. I got in trouble one time really bad (Jr. Kindergarden no less). Lost recess for a week - sat in corner facing the wall. Keep in mind I was like 4 years old. That about 10 hours looking at the wall total... for daring to speak English with friends.
When I was in 3rd grade, one fine winter I got even with that bitch. I found walnut sized stone, wrapped it in snow, dripped it in a puddle, then wrapped in snow/water several times to compress it and water log it (the temp has to be just right with lots of snow on the ground) - around 33 F/2C. When I was done it was about the size of a large orange and quite heavy. Anyways, the bitch was doing yard patrol, and dressed in matching black parkas, a friend and I snuck behind her and kept about 20 yards back. We eventually passed one of those big green metal power distribution units that you are not supposed to climb on - we ducked behind it, and making sure the coast was clear, with my buddy checking as well - I lobed that stone/snow/water snowball as hard as I could 45 degrees straight up - it sailed upwards, and amazingly... I mean one in a 1000... it came down right perfect on top of her head, and she topped over, out cold, smacking her head on the ground as well. She was fucked up. She was down at least 5 mins, and needed assistance to walk back inside.
Anyways, Karma - she was a terror and used to smack around very young kids (I got off easy with just mental torture). She got her receipt. There's a few I never got even with, but most of them I did.HAWN HAWN HAWH
