Vaccines are supposed to prevent you from getting a particular disease. Vaccines for smallpox, polio, measles, mumps and more do exactly that and in addition they also prevent you from being able to spread the disease.
It's precisely because the Covid vaccines aren't 100% that we are seeing variants.
Wrong! None of those vaccines are 100% effective. No vaccine ever created is 100% effective
And Milo is at least partially right. one of the reasons for so many variants is because so many aren't vaccinated that are intermingling with one another as more people are traveling form one place and country to the next than ever before. which is something we didnt see as much of during the small pox and even to a large extent measles epidemics.
Beyond that. This is a virus the like we have never seen before with a whole unique set of problems we have never seen the likes of before.
Getting back to small pox for a moment. Small pox cases were already declining dramatically when the vaccine was introduced. This is another reason why it has largely been eradicated

I havent really gone anywhere. I still look in from time to time but I have other FAR FAR FAR more serious things on my plate right now that I dont need this kind of interaction on a regular basis at the moment.
