Of course not,they are a best guess at what strain will poke it's head up but it's still better than nothing. My immune system is compromised,I've take immune suppressors in the past as I have an auto-immune system condition. Then add in chemo and frequent trips to the hospital,for nonexistent MRI's and the like and well I've gotten a flu shot every year for 20 years or so. It's just in my best interest.

I got a flu shot in early Nov. and got sick on boxing day,that lasted 6 weeks or so,was told it was upper respiratory infection. Just a nasty cold and not much would help except to ride it out,maybe some chicken soup.

I guess I'm just not worried about some mind controlling flu shot,look how not getting measel vaccines has done. I have some blankets for sale!

I try not to take any medications. Pulled/strained a muscle in my back last week. Regular old Ibuprpen worked really well.
