Guns I own but don't load for..

  • Mostly because they are not guns I shoot a lot and because they are a pain to reload for.

    .25 auto.. .32 auto... 9mm Makarov...... and now the 7.62x25 Tokarev... plus all shotshells.

    I buy those calibers in 500 round lots and will never shoot up all the factory/surplus stuff.

  • i was given a .22 hornet rifle to try from a guy that i knew who had a gunshop way back. not for me. i always lilked to create my own loads. .22 magnum i gave up on. 5.56mm i did a lot of work on loads for that calibre in ar's the a1 and a2 and the ar180. if you get a colt a2 carbine to shoot moa that is some achievment.

    i use to duel my ar with an ak . for accuracy and firepower. the ak shat over the ar at first. lighten the trigger on the ar and use 30 round magazines and nato ammo the ar pissed on the ak. lightning the trigger of an ar back then wasnt a drop in thing. it was several hundred hours of carefull filling and sanding of the trigger and sear to get a lght pull without creep
