That's not MS Flight.

Love how they reenacted historical footage.

The new (newest anyway) MS FS is on Steam - not sure if it's exclusively there or anything, but it's there. Sluggo is right too, it's excellent. They have an F35C/B module that just came out and I'm going to pick up today or tomorrow to try out, as the YT vids look great so far as carrier/assault ship operations go. The general aviation stuff in MSFS is incredible IMO, some of the mountain airports around the world make for pretty tough challenges, and there is no end of other things to do in it, I've barely scratched the surface despite spending a fair bit of time tooling around in it.
-
He was talking about MS Flight, not MS FS. That was the "light" version of FS made free several years ago.
-
DCS has been considering going to a world map like MSFS and XPlane use. I think that'd be great. Provided they hand polish certain areas.

The free A-4E is slick. My skillz in it are not. The trim is a lot more sensitive in this aircraft than most of the rest.

Question... why didn't you lean over to get a vis on the boom?
-
Aerial refueling is NOT my forte at all, but it seems to me that you had a look at one point. Why not peek over there and guide the boom into the basket?
-
I could have leaned in but you don't really want to focus on anything close. Not the probe or the basket. Seeing the whole picture helps keeps you steady which is critical.
-
10-4. Like I said, I'm no good at aerial refueling, so I'll definitely defer to your expertise on the matter.
-
There are other planes that you cannot see the probe or port. My problem with the A-4 was lack of practice in the plane. The controls are pretty sensitive.
-
Post up a vid when you get it please. Love me the Scooter.
-
You could do it, only takes practice. Took a lot of practice for me in the other planes.
You don't want to look at your airspeed when you get close. Then it's time to find the throttle position that matches the tankers speed. To move up, throttle up, then back to the matching position. To slow down just the opposite. With practice it gets easier.
