I carry a small one--It has no more fucking generator, has a Cycle Electric alternator with built in rectifier. (LOOKS like a generator) Shorted out battery is death to a generator system, but all I need now is something to create spark to get it started

Every now and then I check ebay for a PSM-6 or Simpson 260. I have a couple of new meters but nostalgia.
I have the Simpson 260 fully refurbished and calibrated, bought it from a guy in Oklahoma that was a former PMEL tech.
I also bought the same model dual trace oscope we used in the TPS-43E. Textronix 4653 I think? I’m not at home or Id go check.
You need a analog meter to check certain components correctly.
