Good movies anybody?

I tried watching RIPD 2 and have to wonder if people are just fucking with everyone. I couldn't make it 15 minutes in. I did enjoy RIPD. This second one is just aweful.

I watched the first one and thought it was....mediocre? at best. It was kinda boring to tell the truth.

Try 'The English' it is sorta like an aquired taste. I would guess most will be invested by about the 3rd episode? to me it was 4th or 5th tho. still... great acting and the vistas.. the cinematography... those were consistently good.

It’s not a high budget film by Jerry Bruckheimer, it’s more like reading a comic book. If you don’t expect more than that it’s not that bad.

They spent 5 minutes of the 15 I watched explaining that if people could see him as a young black woman it would give him valuable insight into exactly the discrimination a black woman might face because... you know... the ghost police force needs to know that.

Godless is indeed one of the great series. the acting is very good and the action is great. It is yet another western where several of the 'Americans' are brit actors with sorta kinda strange accents but as a rule? Brits do a decent southern accent.

Quite a few of the “cowboys” in the old west were immigrants, I imagine a lot of German, Scandinavian, Irish, and English accents (even Chinese) were among them.
