I'm tired of waiting for 2.5 to release. Shall we form a squadron and invade that Blue Flag server?

JHMCs, A/G radar, link 16, ATFLIR TGP, and the majority of the precision guided standoff weaponry won't be available in early access.
Not even TWS on A-A radar... -
Which plane are you referring to Milo, the Hornet? None of that would surprise me to be correct. I also wonder if they'll port the JHMCS helmet capability to the Flaming Cliffs F15C, as it should have it too, same with the Aim9x, instead of the crappier Aim9m.
Dannes, I'd be in, once I get a little bit better, which won't take long, there is a number of DCS players here, Russian as well who is a beta tester. We could put together a pretty good squad/unit I bet. I was thinking about creating my own BF type server myself, especially once they get the server side stuff figured out for hosting on non colocated boxes, but I'd be willing to do that too perhaps. I have lots of home theater PCs that are really decent still (x99/5930k for example) that I could repurpose to a DCS server. I have enough bandwidth, 2 connections one is 250mbit down/30 up, the other is fiber 260 down/60 up, which would work fine I think for a 64 player server so far as bandwidth goes, and it's unlimited data too on that one. So, we could eventually have our own squad server, if enough guys are interested. But for now, ya, getting a few of us together to invade BF could be good times.

I love DCS but because I only play it once a month max I actually have to get a clip board out to start the fucken plane. Anybody considering getting in to it be prepared to sink some serious time into it. F15C is a real good starting point but then again the whole Flaming Cliffs plane set is worth getting for the money. Just to wet your feet and see what you are getting into.

The free Frogfoot is enough fun to get you into it too, just saying.

If you buy a PC that’s not a gaming PC, then you’re just dead to me. DEAD TO ME!

I downloaded the 1.5 and started the training but sometimes when I use 'pause' it won't unpause.

With the SU-25T? I did have a problem with some of the training sessions where if you don't hit the right action, or do it out of their order, it'll confuse the system. It's not necessarily paused, but a little bit broken waiting for you to do "Action B", even if you already did it.

Sweet new picture from DCS's new map and renderer:

Stop that, gamer PCs aren't cheap dammit.
-
What were you lookin to actually spend?
-
$850 for decent I5 or I7 rig for file storage but I did see a gaming set up I liked for $1400.
My current PC is 8 years old and slow.
-
Well.....
I would be thinkin about $1700 for a decent gaming rig. Heck, the video card would run at least $450.
-
Yeah I don't want to get back into gaming, too much to do these days.
But every time I see the new graphics.....
-
Tiny SSD, to match your manhood. Hard drive's are cheap. Everything else is there. And you could have nuke mail it to ya.
-
Took time out from fingering ourself to type all that? I'm flattered.

Hey now, the lad is being helpful.

My goal last build was $1500 and it ran out to $2300

I built one small enough to put in a suitcase for $900. It at least plays WOT fine on max settings, don't have any other games that would tax it more
