It's a funny thing, but some years ago Shucks started a new thread called "Early Winter" - based upon the fact that New York had experienced cooler than normal temperatures one September evening.
Now we have Irma, which has wreaked havoc upon the state of Florida - and there's not a murmur of it on this board. Funny that...
I had hoped to get an update from Storch, but given that six million people in Florida are without power (including 72% of Miami without power) I suppose it's entirely possible that storch is unable to respond at this time.
Nuke will be along to advise me that the current devastation "is all normal, and has all happened before"... but in the news I keep reading reports which include superlatives such as "unprecedented storm surges", "record rainfall" etc.
"Florida pounded hard by 'some big monster", says President Donald Trump.
No Donald - trust your own bullshit. It's all a hoax.
