Man that tactical laptop pocket sticks out like a sore thumb IMHO.
Me I only carry very small guns (J-frames) in the pocket with pocket holster, otherwise IWB or shoulder holster (cold months with jacket covering). I like the Crossbreed style IWB holsters (and clones) and something like a S&W Shield in 9mm for IWB.
Shoulder holster - you can carry pretty much whatever you want (full size 1911, Browning HP, Full size Sig etc. etc. etc.).
