Well the shit is gonna evaporate evENTually
Well which is it? Never or eventually??
I burned up 2 HOOOOSKvarnnas, bought a Stihl 290 about 6-7 years ago, haven't done shit except buy the occasional bar/chain.
I burned up a cheapo Pulan. Took it in for repair at a dedicated chainsaw repair shop only to find out it's not worth repairing.
But the guy said to me that the canned pre-mix gas is the way to go. Expensive, but it'll double the life of any of the home-owner level chainsaws.
What kind of a metrosexual dazzling urbanite buys pre-mixed two-stroke gasoline??
Random video...
Stahp talking about store bought premix.

The man who earns his living fixing chainsaws does.
But me? My chainsaw's still dead. So I can't prove it right or wrong.
You chainsaw needs a carb clean and a plug. Do those things and fire that bitch up.
If it ain't seized, there is no reason to go past fuel, air, spark

The piston was scoured and shredded. I couldn't really get any power out of it, especially at full throttle. Not enough of a seal in the chamber. It was NOT a good chainsaw, just something cheap.

Can some canned air and give that a whirl.
Laughing gas, tape the sucker wide open.
Do work.
Ignoring the tats and the vid....THAT is one BEAUTIFUL woman...!!!
I got a walmart electric chainsaw this year for $40. I got tired of constant carb problems the three time a year I actually need a chainsaw. It's got a 16 inch bar and does everything I need it to do. When I'm away from power I just load a generator into my little lawn tractor trailer.
I have a lawn mower that has the same issue. I solved it by running the mower until it runs out of gas each time and I buy gas at home depot that doesn't have any additives. $18.00 or so a gallon but the illegal Mexicans want $25-$50 to cut it each week. If I don't water the lawn a gallon lasts 2 years. Do you need to see a pic of my lawn now?
I run my mowers out of gas at the end of the season. Saves on having to disassemble and clean the carb every few years.
Sta‐bil
I use Sta-bil but you still don't want gas sitting in the carb all winter.
Your seals will aarp aarp aarp

I don't let it sit in the carb overnight, no more carb issues.
had a lawnmower that sat for over a year with eth gas in it... wouldn't even fire up with the cord pull...
got some seafoam... poured it into the tank and removed the air filter...
kept tryin to start it and spraying starter fuel into the open carb...
would fire up n run for a second or 2... did a steady stream of starter fluid and kept it running for a bit...
thing is was pullin seafoam into the carb...
let it sit for about 24 hours... and did it again...
after about 3 times doing this it started up and has been running ever since...
course we picked up some no eth gas to run in it now so...
here maverick gas stations sell it for about 1 dollar more then eth gas...
Drop the bowl, clean the needle, reassemble next time.
