I got a (recent) book on the design of the P-51 Mustang. It is one of the worst books I've ever read. Literally only the second book I've ever thrown out.
But I also got a book about the 215 squadron of Corsair Pilots in the Pacific, and that's much better.
The Celt is a Yankee. Back in 1974 or so she spent a month with me then I had to sail away to chase Russians in the Caribbean. She suffered a severe Cuban missle crisis. When the ship pulled in at Truman in Key West she was quayside, quivering with anticipation.

There are some people that are repulsed by white gravy, and smoked BBQ. I've seen it with my own eyes. Those People really should be put down for the greater good.

well shit far.... you can tell where people originate by the family english pronunciations... and what they call em... idioms???
on my father side there was examples such as far instead of fire... n the phrase... shit far...
on my mothers side an old cherokee cuss word... callin people a shit ass... there was also the phrase showing your ass...
actually got very similar such from both sides of the family...
great grandfather on mothers side was full blood cherokee... then came irish... but mostly scots irish...
from fathers side similar claim... but irish was in there as well... plus english and all the way back to northman or norman...
You also have to separate yankees so they have no contact with other yankees. If you get a large group of them moving to the South, they never change if you keep them all together (see The Villages as a case study).
