EU is expanding, with new nations in NATO and the ongoing need for economic reform and mutual defence work, production, co-ordination, military recruitment etc, press and ethical honestly to ones nation and the EU as a whole is highly important.

Anyone who thinks the EU is "failing" has not looked closely at what is going on.

Now its clear to Russia that europe actully does not need its gas, admitting it was "Geopolitical" and Germany for example has knocked down its use by about half will be replaced by around july next year (thats the fun thing, not every EU state uses or sells all its resources at one time, cold war thinking) things are likely to move very quickly.

Norway for example has 457 years of gas in reserve not counting whats not been verified yet, if need be they would give it to the EU for FREE. Despite not being in the EU.
