All decent Ukrainians either already work in RF (3.5 million, over 10% of total population) or in EU, or work to get Russian citizenship like my Brother. He is an ER doctor, he can work here in ambulance/rescue only if he gets a Russian passport. He can get a Romanian EU passport in a matter of days, Chernovtsy, but he wants a Russian citizenship. He was born in Magadan in 1970.

If they attack People's Republics - it should be like in Syria. Airstrikes and missiles. And paratroopers on their nuclear power plants. Shut down, secure it from troglodytes and Westinghouse and retreat. Just for safety.

We'd like to adopt Odessa, Nikolayev and Kharkov. But feeding parasites?! Killing and dying - not our choice.

Russians pretty much understand what WAR means. While the last men to remember it are Sleepy Joe and his Alzheimer.

You have to admit that Russians vs NATO in 2022 should go as 27 to nothing w/o nuclear release in two weeks. With nukes - it should be 30 to nothing in two hours. I wonder how Albania is going to help.

So far Ukrainians refuse to admit Russia is going to invade. Sure, US is going to fight Russia to the last Ukrainian.

Euros were smart enough to declare they are going to buy pipeline gas on spot prices, so they jumped p to $2000 per 1000m3. While long term contractors get it for $250 that was too much for home-brew "capitalists". We are not going to feed that smart asses just like in times of "Berlin siege". Cash on the table please.

US already sells Russian LPG to Europe. LPG tankers from US to UK were actually Russian from Sabetta in Arctic Ocean. Very good business. LOL there is no article about Sabetta in Eng Wiki.

As I see it - US wants to destroy Europe completely. It's Capitalism, no one needs competitors. Without Russian pipeline gas - Europe, Germany first is going to freeze, but, before that - it's going to stop it's industry.

Wasn't it in the news - Biden insisted that Russians are going to attack while Zelensky said they see no evidence? Whence the threat to peace again. Ukrainian nazi regime is not going to sacrifice for US agenda.

So, what's happening between Russia and Ukraine? My brief take for my western friends, personal and probably inaccurate, so take it for what it is. TL/DR.

1. RU and UA, what's the fuss is about? Instead of getting into historical details, here's a quick and dirty analogue. As you probably know, right now Canada has its own sort of Maidan, called the Convoy of Freedom. Basically people are unhappy with their Govt and want PM to resign.
Now imagine that Trudeau plays coward, resigns and flees to US, and people put in power a new PM. This new PM then announces that Canada is no longer aligned with US and UK and wants to join Russia and/or China and maybe even host Russian or Chinese military bases on its territory. Don't ask me why, just imagine that sort of the Red Maple Lead Dawn.
Got it? No? Not enough imagination? Then replace Canada with Mexico. Same idea.
Now, would Uncle Sam remain calm, neutral and respecting the democratic choice of the people of its neighbor? Huh?

2. Invasion. Just ask yourself, who is hysteric about this pending invasion and always asking for it to start sooner than later? Sleepy Joe, his European minions and the mainstream Western media. Anyone who says otherwise is immediately dismissed or silenced, like that German Vice admiral Kay-Achim Schoenbach, who was forced to resign for voicing non-mainstream ideas that maybe it is worth befriending Russian instead of alienating it, because of China. Would you believe CNN or Sleepy Joe on anything, huh? As a small illustration, below is the cover of 2001 issue of US magazine with typical "Russian expertise". It didn't aged well, didn't it?
Especially when Biden's rating is a magnitude lower than an average IQ of a typical CNN talking head?

3. NATO is pumping Ukraine with short-range ground-warfare weapons, primarily anti-tank. Probably in hopes of a huge and bloody land battle. The thing is that Russia does not want nor need to actually invade, it just needs to secure its own borders. And it already proved that it has an array of precision long-range weapons and an air force which is vastly superior to anything that Ukraine can throw into the air. So, worst case scenario of things going hot (which I hope will never happen!), there will be no massed invasion, but series of precision long range strikes against key targets like ammunition depots, artillery positions etc etc, until Ukrainian military disintegrates as a coherent fighting force.

Resume: It's the West and especially Sleepy Joe who want to start the war in Europe to take peoples attention away from their massive clusterfucks.

Reminds me of my Mom's story. She goes to Coles, Beenleigh, QLD, AU. She met a Russian-speaking lady, they chatted, both - Ukrainians. But in 2014 that lady started screaming at Mom like "You stole our Crimea!", so Mom switched to Ukrainian that lady obviously could understand but couldn't speak. She literally collapsed. We, Muscovites, are quite cruel.
