The movie Interstellar was science fiction but the time dilation they experienced in the movie when near the black hole is proven science fact. Whether the time passage on the water planet they visited was realistic as depicted I dunno but for the areas near the black hole it is. Think about that. With time passing more slowly for that black hole for millions of years it effectively puts it in our distant past. It put those visiting the water planet in our past. Yet they were able to then travel back to our present, their future, merely by traveling through space. Time is not intuitive.

Time
-
-
Is on my side
-
Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day
-
And... Tom Hanks should have let Matt Damon die in France.
-
Fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way?
-
Should have shot him. Then, himself.
-
In a Baldwinesque way.
-
Has come today
-
does anybody REALLY know?
-
I don't think anyone cares
-
PROBably, too much time on my hands is the problem
-
Flowing like a river (on and on)
-
Nowhere to go all day to get there
-
the years just flow by like a broken down dam
-
If I could save time in a bottle.
-
You have all the time there is.
-
Does anybody really know what time it is?
-
I ain't wastin no time no more
-
Time is the fire in which we burn.
