  • What's the verdict?

Of all tyrannies a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies, The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. — C.S. Lewis

  • Only my new laptop is "compatible" so far. I count on these machines to do what I need them to do. I don't want any driver issues and whatnot... I run the whole band's show through this laptop. It could be a problem if it didn't work how I need it to.

  • Anyone using HP printers with 11? 10 was a giant pain in the ass for quite some time with them. Every time it would update it would make copies of the HP printers that didn't work and default to them until you removed them.

  • Best purchase we've made in years was a used Brother wireless network laser, most trouble-free we've ever had. We keep the all-in-one HP for the scanner only

  • It's the ink that bends you over and pounditates you. Half the fucking printers out there (ink jets) are are cheaper than the cartridges that feed them

  • Something I've seen happen several times lately with windows 11 is the outline of a box opens and stays. I run the latest insider versions so it will likely be fixed eventually. I tracked it down and found it is a search process. Sometimes clicking the search icon on the task bar sends it away and sometimes I have to end the process from the task manager.

  • Spooky...
