With Etsy openly preventing me from posting half of my knives, it was time to get my own website.

The page is VERY crude. Half the links don't work like I want them to. I'm still trying to get everything to auto-sort and auto-fill into the categories. And I'm still in the process of uploading everything. It's all formatted by Wordpress stuff. It almost feels like it'd be easier to do it manually, but I don't know how to do that either.

If you have recommendations of how to do it or something to change, feel free to tell me. But this is the only way to put up my knives without tripling the website cost through wordpress and using one of their plugins.

storch The new knives have had their profiles ground, they have been quenched, and tempered once. One more tempering, then grinding the bevels and putting the handles on.

Nope, I'm good. Actually got a sale from the gun show several days after. A kid wanted to buy a clinch pick for his father without him knowing it.

Wordpress's "good" features and even legitimate online store stuff comes into play at $300 a year. It might be worth it if this stuff really starts to sell, but not yet.

Miami weather sounds good right about now.

Too fucking cold to continue this morning. Had to chip ice out of the water bucket. Just establishing the edge before the grind and two knives out of 10 in I couldn't feel my fingers.

Had to get cheap gloves to finish them.

storch Using so many brass pins recently. I've got stainless steel or nickel silver pins. Would it be OK / preferred to use those?

Friend down at the hardware store is displaying my Camp Knives. They seem to be getting a lot of attention, so if you're interested reach out. I think I'll make some more. But first, some kitchen knives. I'm almost out.
