I didn't get through War and the World.
Kin-Dza-Dza is a fantastic satire from Soviet 1985 to now. It seems to me that, unfortunately, you didn't understand it.
Anyway - with Kin-Dza-Dza you are closer. Imagine yourself as Uncle Vova and Fiddler.
