  • And... I could do as well as him with a .357 or 44 mag or special handgun... maybe a good tuned 1911.. but I would give up past about 100 yards unless I still had a clear shot figuring I had at least a decent chance of a hit. IF IT WERE ME and I wanted the guy dead? I might fire some magnum rounds into the deck of the Lincoln just for shits and grins hoping some would go through the sheet metal and hit the target that was slumped and mostly hidden.

Sooooo... at this point the SS and his wife are freaked. They are all over the car and his wife is actually climbing out of the car to get away. She is in the line of fire. did Oswald hold fire so as not to hit her?

Oswald dumped the rifle and fled the book depository. But he took a Smith and Wesson 'Victory model" 38 special revolver.. I have owned half a dozen Good gun... He got spotted by a cop and freaked out and shot the cop.

Ok... the pro's on the hill or whatever..........................They simply did not have a shot at the range we are talking about. They had to use the carcono and the ammo for it.. They had to use the scopes available at the time. The grassy knoll was what? a 300 yard angle shot? with people all around? angle shot at a moving target with the gun and the scope of the times? Not feeling it. Where did the bullet go? It had to go somewhere if fired from hill from the front... there were people everywhere. It did not hit anyone nor was it every recovered. That is the real magic bullet.. One no one heard..................one no one recovered..........one that left a bigger entrance wound than exit

In my opinion? if there was a second or third or whatever shooter? he didn't hit squat.

  • Ruby was more likely just taking revenge on the guy that killed his celebrity crush. Emotionally disturbed people are capable of extraordinary acts. He lost his imaginary love and probably didn't care what became of himself afterwards. It was not a logical act and trying to apply the standards of a reasonable person won't answer why he did it.

  • I can't make any predictions on why Oswald was shot or even if there were other shooters. Ruby never gave it up tho. even dying of cancer in prison. Oswald shot JFK from the book depository and hit him twice. Unless there was someone behind Oswald? Oswald is the one who made the shots.

If there were hit men 300 yards in front of the car hiding in the bushes? they were not needed Not saying they were not there. But no rounds came from the front. All came from the rear and above.

  • you'll feel better about being fooled once you change your avatar

  • The guy at the top right just seen a guy pull a handgun. cops tend to look around while escorting high profile prisoners.. at least that is what they cop said. Ruby got in cause he was a 'friend' to the cops. Did he silence Oswald at the mafias request? maybe.. not really important tho except that maybe .......... the mafia was in cahoots with Oswald and did not want him to talk? I am good with that but it makes no difference on who shot JFK

  • Darth.. you will feel better about being fooled once someone explains how firearms work.

Oswald was the one who shot JFK.. was he hired? who fucking knows? did anyone else take a shot? who knows. But Oswald or someone right next to him hit JFK with a 6.5 carcano rifle from behind blowing his fucking brains out. Oswald brought such a rifle to the shooting spot. people in the building heard him fire 3 or four shots.. there was 8 seconds between the first and third.. this is normal iron sight time.

An expert shot with a good rifle shot 3 times at an easy target and missed once. That somehow seems like the most logical way to look at it.

  • amazing that the guy who the CIA sent on a mission defected to Russia was able to not only bring back a Russian bride but also blow off the prez' head in broad daylight & then be gunned down surrounded by cops before he could say anything beyond "Im just the patsy". Youre right Laz, open & shut case

  • #1.. I am good with your theory.. Oswald said "I am a patsy" To me? that means that maybe someone who hired him and said "don't worry we will get you out and to Cuba/soviet union/wherever the fuck you want..... sold him out..

How did he plan all this but......................his escape was keystone cops no planning shit? I think he thought he would be spirited away ... instead? his ride never showed up.. he ran to a theater to hide then shot a cop cause he was fucked... hiding in plain sight.

They lied to him and then had someone do him in. But... that is just my theory.

  • Darth.. no idea what you are trying to say. Of course he could go to russia and bring back a russian bride. Hell he passed out commie pamphlets for months and no one bothered him.. no one bothered the communist party of America either. This was the late 50's and early 60's when everyone was sick of McCarthy. I am not seeing your point.

  • Agreed. He was a nobody... a useful idiot with good eyes.

  • Sooooo.. who hired Oswald to shoot JFK? the mafia or the government? I got no idea.. don't even have a theory.

I am just a gun guy.
