I had an IBM Selectrix in 70s brown (Golf Ball Typewriter) for many years but sold it recently. I'm kind of craving an old school Dot Matrix printer now (strictly for nostalgia, and it's practically free to print).

I took typing in high school, easy credit. This was well before PCs. Did some typing on IBM Selectrics in AF before PCs became available.

The best part is that it stops when needle point sharp. I wasted a lot of lead in school on those manual sharpeners.
