Posted for all you wankers who, a week or so ago, posted that the Chinese

  • I wouldn't dispute that China routinely steals intellectual property. They don't really have- or at least don't respect- that same concept over there. At my previous employer, there was a whole branch of the IT department that dealt with Chinese hackers. All day. Every day. They never stopped. In the aircraft industry, they are *constantly* trying to hack their way in and download any documents they can. It's got to be a full time job for hundreds or thousands of them.

I'm sure they're at least as aggressive where weapons systems, spacecraft, computers, etc. are concerned.

Not saying I personally care. The whole concept of "intellectual property" is not a natural right. It's a made-up government intervention... totally incompatible with the Holy Free Market. An monopoly enforced by the government.

Now I'm not saying that's always a bad thing. In some cases it's a good and useful thing. But in more cases it's just another scheme to rape consumers.

    Tick Tock: motherfuckers.

  • Interesting read though long on "developing" and "research".

The Asians are at the top of the human intelligence heap. That typed they fall behind the west exactly because of the reasons the author stated satirically.

What leftist cock gobblers like that bloggista conveniently forget is who is the father of intelligence gathering?

It isn't a one way street.

  • "Russian hackers"...pffft. Ruskies are mere rookies in this area. I suppose they could teach the chinks how to become alcoholics

Was...? Was that an almost cogent thought from Toad?

Without IP and Patent protection (which are SHORT TERM monopolies) there wouldn't be any money spent on developing products, but on stealing and copying them. You yourself noted that the Chinese haven't actually created anything new. Just copied EVERYTHING everyone else has done.

  • Well they're learning from us. After all didn't we reverse engineer the excellent TU-4 bomber to impose our imperialistic will upon the peace loving peoples of Soviet Socialists Republics?

  • Pretty sure that Trump was worried that they were going to overtake us economically.... by unfair trade practices and intellectual property theft.

He was of course right and has already done a lot so that won't happen.

Yes, I agree. The Holy Free Market provides little incentive to develop anything that can be readily copied. Government intervention is needed.

And like all government interventions creating protected profits (a Republicunt specialty), it's *widely* abused.

  • .....and incomprehensibly intelligent Americans have no need to, nor would they, steal other more inferior folk's (i.e, everybody but them) secrets. What's more, any American would wash their numinous mind out with Lysol if such an unethical thought every intruded into their reicheous reverie. Nor do Americans spy on ANY nation, let alone on the Chinese and Russian Untermenschen!! Right?

  • Clearly you're being sarcastic but the difference is we can do that. Others can't. We're exceptional.

You're old enough to know that. I'M surprised to have to educate you.
