5G Wireless Network and the Feds NOT leasing it out?

  • So I caught an interesting article about the upcoming 5G wireless networks:

    https://www.axios.com/trump-te…3e-acd4-f3eb03d910ff.html

And while I am aware the the US Federal Government "owns" the electromagnetic spectrum and leases it to wireless companies, they repeatedly talk about the problems China would cause with the upcoming 5G network. But they don't really explain it very well.

Basically the idea is for the Federal Government to NOT lease out the 5G airwaves, and build their own system to prevent China from doing something, but what is that something? Anyone know?

  • a commie idea floated and pushed by the chumpster, he wanted to nationalize it. fortunately the fcc told him to go fuck himself

Notice how Christine Blasey Ford was always referred to as Dr Blasey Ford by the media, but Vanessa Tyson who also has a PhD isn’t referred to as Dr Tyson by them

  • well, if you want socialism and want to make sure that there will never be a 6g network then chumps communist inspired plan is for you...

some of you cultists may like the idea... heh you remind me of the north Korean state tv reporting on lil kim

  • No. Nationalization is bullshit and as a taxpayer I don't want to be on the hook for this.

If the telecom companies want super duper 5g, then let them pay for it... and if the .gov is worried about the chinks hacking it, then don't do top secret shit on a wireless network you fucktards.

Jiminy Christmas the dumb shit we worry about.

  • The frequencies are regulated by the FCC, but the towers and all other associated hardware is bought and paid for by the wireless network owners... Verizon, At&t, etc.

I see no reason to let the .gov take over the whole shootin match.

  • The reason for the government to want to take it over is all about surveillance.

You don't need a warrant to gather data from your own network.
